Super Sunday Lasagna
Super Sunday Lasagna features layers of tender pasta, savory tomato sauce, creamy cheese, and spinach, making it a hearty and flavorful dish perfect for family gatherings or comfort food lovers.
Ingredients
- 1/2 (1 lb.) package Creamettes lasagna (uncooked) ⓘ
- 2 (26 oz.) jars tomato and basil or onion and garlic pasta sauce ⓘ
- 1 (15 or 16 oz.) container Ricotta cheese or cottage cheese ⓘ
- 1 (10 oz.) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and well drained ⓘ
- 1 lb. shredded Mozzarella cheese, divided ⓘ
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese ⓘ
- 2 eggs, beaten
Instructions
- Prepare the Creamettes lasagna according to package directions; drain.
- In a medium bowl, combine Ricotta cheese, thawed and well-drained chopped spinach, half of the shredded Mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, and beaten eggs; mix well.
- In a 15 x 9-inch baking dish, layer 2 cups of pasta sauce, half of the cooked lasagna, remaining sauce, all of the spinach mixture, half of the remaining Mozzarella cheese, remaining lasagna, and sauce.
- Cover the dish and bake in a 350°F oven until bubbly, about 45 minutes.
- Uncover and top with the remaining Mozzarella cheese and parsley. Bake for an additional 15 minutes.
- Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
