Ingredients

  • wide noodles
  • 1/4 lb. butter
  • 1 medium head cabbage
  • pepper
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 small onion

Instructions

  1. Chop or grate the cabbage until fine.
  2. Put the cabbage into a heavy skillet with butter and cook over low heat until lightly browned and tender.
  3. Fry the chopped onion in butter until lightly browned.
  4. Add the cooked onion to the cabbage.
  5. Combine the sautéed cabbage and onion mixture with cooked noodles and season with salt and pepper.
