Sweet Corn Bake

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 1/2 c. cooked rice
  • 2 c. canned or fresh tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 c. corn (fresh, frozen or canned)
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. hot pepper sauce
  • 1 c. crushed saltines
  • 1/4 c. margarine, melted

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, brown beef and onion.
  2. Drain.
  3. Stir in rice, tomatoes, corn, salt and pepper sauce.
  4. Mix.
  5. Pour into a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
  6. Combine crumbs and margarine; sprinkle on top.
  7. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
