Ingredients

  • 3 cups sweet potatoes
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 stick butter

Instructions

  1. Boil sweet potatoes until soft.
  2. Drain and mash the sweet potatoes using a potato masher.
  3. Add evaporated milk and salt to the mashed sweet potatoes.
  4. Whip the mixture well and place into a well-greased casserole dish.
  5. Heat maple syrup with butter and pour over the mashed sweet potatoes.
  6. Bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit until the top is caramelized.
