- Drain the yams.
- Combine the yams, crushed pineapple, molasses, and brown sugar in a bowl.
- Blend thoroughly until the yams and mixture are completely mashed.
- Put the mixture into a casserole dish and bake for 1 hour at 350°F or until heated through.
- Remove from the oven and spread the marshmallows on top.
- Return to the oven and broil for 1 minute until the marshmallows are golden brown.
