Ingredients

  • 1 large can pumpkin
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 cups milk
  • 6 eggs
  • a dash of vanilla
  • a dash of salt

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients, except pie crust shells, with a mixer.
  2. Pour the mixture into the two pie crust shells.
  3. Sprinkle generously with cinnamon or nutmeg on top.
  4. Bake at 425°F for 15 minutes.
  5. Reduce oven temperature to 375°F and bake for an additional 25 minutes.
  6. Total baking time is 40 minutes.
