Ingredients

  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 8 oz. blue cheese
  • 1/4 lb. butter or margarine
  • 2 Tbsp. sherry
  • 2 Tbsp. green onions, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped black olives
  • 2 1/4 oz. sliced almonds, toasted

Instructions

  1. Bring the cream cheese, blue cheese, and butter to room temperature.
  2. Mix the softened cheeses and butter together until smooth.
  3. Add sherry, green onions, chopped black olives, and mix well.
  4. Shape the mixture into a log on wax paper.
  5. Refrigerate until firm, about 1-2 hours.
  6. Toast sliced almonds in the oven with butter until golden.
  7. Before serving, roll the log in the toasted sliced almonds.
  8. Serve with your favorite crackers.
