Ingredients

  • 1 lb. bacon
  • 3 medium onions
  • 1 can tomato juice
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 lb. spaghetti

Instructions

  1. Cut bacon into chunks.
  2. Put bacon in a skillet and brown.
  3. When bacon is almost brown, add chopped onions.
  4. Brown onions well with the bacon.
  5. Remove excess bacon grease, leaving about 4 tablespoons in the skillet.
  6. Add tomato juice and sugar to the skillet. Cook on medium heat for 15 minutes.
  7. Reduce heat to simmer and let the sauce continue cooking.
  8. Cook spaghetti noodles according to package instructions.
  9. Add cooked spaghetti to the sauce and mix well.
