- Mix sliced bell peppers, yellow squash, onions, and salt and set aside for 2 hours with ice on top of the mixture.
- In a large stockpot, combine apple cider vinegar, celery seed, sugar, and turmeric. Bring to a boil.
- Drain the mixture of peppers, squash, onions, and salt.
- Add the drained mixture to the boiling vinegar mixture.
- Bring the mixture to a boil again.
- Pour the hot mixture into clean, dry, warm jars and seal.
