Ingredients

  • 3 lb. Swiss chard, washed
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 c. or more water
  • 1 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Bring water to a boil in a large pot.
  2. Add the washed Swiss chard, chopped onion, and salt to the boiling water.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for about 1 hour, ensuring it doesn't boil dry.
  4. Serve hot, optionally seasoned further to taste.
