- Take the top off the loaf and cut grids 1 1/2 inches apart almost to the bottom.
- Place slices of Swiss cheese into each slot of the bread.
- Blend together the softened butter, prepared mustard, poppy seed, minced onion flakes, and lemon juice.
- Spread the mixture on top of the bread like icing.
- Place the bread in a round pan and bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and cool for 2 minutes before serving.
