Ingredients

  • 4 cups croutons
  • 2 tomatoes, sliced
  • 1/2 pound (2 cups) shredded Swiss cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Arrange croutons in a 9-inch pie plate.
  3. Top croutons with tomato slices and shredded Swiss cheese.
  4. In a small bowl, beat eggs, milk, paprika, and dry mustard with a wire whisk.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the cheese.
