Taco Bar Recipe
Ingredients
- 5 -10 taco shells, warmed to package directions or 5 -10 corn tortillas ⓘ
- 5 -10 butter lettuce leaves, washed ⓘ
- 7 1/2 ounces Wildwood® Meatless Crumbles, Mexican Inspired ⓘ
- 5 ounces organic Mexican blend cheese, grated ⓘ
- 7 1/2 ounces Wildwood® Mild Organic Salsa ⓘ
- 5 ounces guacamole, recipe follows ⓘ
- 2 1/2 ounces romaine lettuce, chopped
- 2 1/2 ounces cilantro, chopped ⓘ
- 3 ripe avocados, cut each in half, remove the seed and scoop out the pulp
- 3 tablespoons red onions, finely chopped ⓘ
- 3 garlic cloves, minced ⓘ
- 1 tablespoon cilantro, finely chopped
Instructions
- Heat Meatless Crumbles in saucepan until warm.
- Remove from the heat and then add to taco shell or butter lettuce leaf.
- Add remaining toppings listed until taco is filled to your liking.
- Serve the taco bar family style, immediately.
- *For the Guacamole: In a small mixing bowl, combine the avocado with the onion, garlic, cilantro, lemon juice, and salt and mash with the back of a fork until mostly smooth leaving a bit of chunkiness for texture. Serve immediately, or cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate.
