A vibrant, spicy salsa packed with fresh peppers, tomatoes, and garlic, perfect for adding bold flavor to tacos, chips, or grilled meats.

Ingredients

  • 6 c. hot peppers
  • 2 c. bell peppers
  • 2 c. onions
  • 4 c. tomatoes
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 4 Tbsp. horseradish
  • 1 1/4 c. vinegar
  • 1 1/4 c. water
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar

Instructions

  1. Mince the hot peppers (run through a grinder).
  2. Cut up the onions and tomatoes.
  3. Mince the garlic.
  4. Combine all ingredients including vinegar, water, sugar, and horseradish.
  5. Bring to a boil and simmer for about 1 hour.
  6. Pour the salsa into pint jars and process in a water bath for 10 minutes.
