Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 can (13 1/2 oz.) pineapple chunks, drained
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1 cup green pepper strips
  • 1 (12 oz.) can canned meat, Prem, Spam or Treet, cubed

Instructions

  1. Mix brown sugar and cornstarch, then add the syrup drained from pineapple cubes, water, and vinegar. Cook, stirring constantly, until clear and thick.
  2. Stir in cubed meat, pineapple chunks, and green pepper strips.
  3. Cook over low heat until heated through.
  4. Serve over cooked rice.
