Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 4 cans white creamed corn
  • 1 1/2 cups white cornmeal
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3/4 cup Wesson oil
  • 2 cans green chili peppers
  • 3/4 pound sharp Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Mix the green chili peppers and grated Cheddar cheese together.
  2. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and then add creamed corn, cornmeal, garlic salt, baking powder, and Wesson oil. Mix well.
  3. Pour the corn mixture into a baking dish.
  4. Layer the cheese mixture over the corn mixture.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes until golden and set.
