Ingredients

  • 1 c. cornmeal
  • 4 c. lukewarm water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3 lb. ground chuck, scrambled and drained
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. chili powder
  • 2 tsp. black pepper
  • 16 oz. whole tomatoes
  • 5 oz. tomato paste
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 large green pepper, chopped

Instructions

  1. To Prepare Mush:
  2. Cook cornmeal, water and salt in double boiler until thick.
  3. Cover and let set until filling is ready.
