Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. minced onion
  • 1/2 tsp. powdered mustard
  • 1 1/2 tsp. water
  • 1 1/2 lb. fish fillet
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • pinch of black pepper
  • paprika

Instructions

  1. Combine minced onion, powdered mustard, and water in a bowl.
  2. Let the mixture stand for 10 minutes.
  3. Wipe the fish fillet with a damp cloth and arrange it in a baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle the fish with salt.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine mayonnaise, lemon juice, the onion and mustard mixture, and black pepper.
  6. Pour the mayonnaise mixture over the fish fillet.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 500°F for 12 to 17 minutes or until the fish is done and lightly browned.
  8. Garnish with paprika before serving.
