Ingredients

  • 4 cups cooked and sweetened fruit
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in the bottom of a large pan or baking dish.
  2. Combine milk, flour, sugar, and baking powder in a bowl.
  3. Pour the batter mixture over the melted butter.
  4. Pour the cooked hot fruit into the center of the batter.
  5. Spread a little to distribute evenly if desired.
  6. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25 to 30 minutes, or until golden and cooked through.
