Ingredients

  • 3 lb. round steak
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 small piece ginger root
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Freeze the steak for 1 hour.
  2. Slice the steak thinly against the grain.
  3. Combine soy sauce, brown sugar, and grated ginger in a shallow dish.
  4. Add the steak slices to the marinade and let sit for 30 minutes.
  5. Place the marinated steak slices on a broiler rack.
  6. Broil the steak 4 inches from the heat source.
  7. Cook for 7 to 9 minutes, turning once, until browned and cooked to desired doneness.
  8. Serve immediately.
