Ingredients

  • 4 slices bread
  • 1 lb. bulk sausage
  • 1 cup grated sharp cheese
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper

Instructions

  1. Tear bread into pieces and place in a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
  2. Brown and drain the sausage.
  3. Spread the cooked sausage over the bread in the dish.
  4. Sprinkle grated cheese over the sausage.
  5. In a bowl, beat together eggs, milk, dry mustard, salt, and pepper.
  6. Pour the egg mixture over the bread, sausage, and cheese in the baking dish.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 35 to 40 minutes until set and golden.
