Ingredients

  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/4 c. vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Sift corn meal, flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar together.
  2. Combine egg, oil, and milk; add to dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
  3. Pour batter into a greased 9-inch square pan, 10-inch iron skillet, or 12-muffin tin.
