These savory cheese-stuffed bread bites are perfect for parties or snacks, offering rich flavors of cheese, Worcestershire, and spices with a crispy baked finish.

Ingredients

  • 3 loaves thin Pepperidge Farm bread (remove crust)
  • 4 sticks margarine or butter
  • 4 jars Old English cheese
  • dill weed
  • 1 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Tabasco
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • dash of cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. Mix margarine, Old English cheese, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco, onion powder, and cayenne pepper with a mixer until the consistency of frosting.
  2. Spread the mixture on the bread slices (crust removed).
  3. Stack the bread slices in groups of three and quarter the stacks.
  4. Sprinkle dill weed on top of the stacks.
  5. Freeze the stacked slices on cookie sheets.
  6. Remove from freezer and store in bags.
  7. Do not defrost until ready to bake.
  8. Bake at 350°F for 12 to 15 minutes until golden and crispy.
