Ingredients

  • 1 orange
  • 12 cloves
  • 1 fifth dry red wine
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1/2 cup sugar

Instructions

  1. Stud the orange with cloves and simmer it with the red wine and cinnamon stick in a medium saucepan for 30 minutes.
  2. Add the sugar and stir until it is dissolved.
  3. Serve the beverage in preheated mugs.
