Ingredients

  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups Crisco shortening
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 cup sweet milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
  • 1 teaspoon lemon flavoring

Instructions

  1. Cream sugar and shortening until well combined.
  2. Add eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
  3. Gradually add flour and sweet milk alternately, mixing well after each addition.

  6. Pour batter into a prepared baking pan.
