Ingredients

  • 2 c. chopped pears
  • 2 c. chopped peaches
  • 2 c. chopped apples
  • 1 tsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 6 c. sugar
  • 1 pkg. Sure-Jell

Instructions

  1. Combine chopped pears, peaches, apples, and lemon juice in a 4-quart saucepan.
  2. Cook, stirring until the fruit is almost tender.
  3. Stir in sugar, Sure-Jell, butter, and food coloring.
  4. Bring to a rolling boil, stirring constantly.
  5. Boil for 10 to 12 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and skim off foam.
  7. Ladle into sterilized jars, leaving 1/2-inch space at the top.
  8. Seal with paraffin.
