Ingredients

  • 1 large loaf bread
  • 12 oz. peanut butter
  • 2/3 cup oil
  • 1/4 cup sugar

Instructions

  1. Cut off the edges of the bread loaf.
  2. Toast the end pieces and edges of the bread in the oven.
  3. Crumb the toasted bread pieces by rolling them into crumbs.
  4. Cut each slice of bread into 6 sticks.
  5. Place the bread sticks on a cookie sheet and bake in a 200°F (93°C) oven until dry and crispy.
  6. Melt the peanut butter, sugar, and oil over low heat until smooth.
  7. Dip the bread sticks into the melted mixture, then roll them in the crumbs.
  8. Let the coated bread sticks dry for at least 1 hour before storing in an airtight container.
