Ingredients

  • 1 small package cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • several dashes liquid hot pepper seasoning
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 8 ounces fresh crab meat or 1 can (7.5 ounces) crab meat

Instructions

  1. Beat cream cheese, milk, lemon juice, and hot pepper seasoning together until smooth.
  2. Mix in the chopped green onions and crab meat.
  3. Split the muffins, butter them, and toast until golden brown.
  4. Spread the cheese mixture over the hot toasted side of each muffin.
  5. Broil just until the top browns slightly.
