Instructions

  1. Saute the onion, celery, and garlic in oleo.
  2. Add peas, potato, cottage cheese, and water.
  3. Cook for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
  4. Add 1 cup of precooked rice during the last 15 minutes of cooking.
  5. Add 1 1/2 teaspoons of salt or to taste, along with McKay's seasoning.
  6. Before serving, add milk to the soup.
  7. Serve with a scoop of cottage cheese in each soup bowl.
