Ingredients

  • 16 oz. cooked penne pasta
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 3 lb. tomatoes, diced
  • 1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped basil leaves
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • splash of vodka (optional)

Instructions

  1. Saute garlic in olive oil for 2 to 3 minutes.
  2. Add diced tomatoes and simmer a few minutes.
  3. Add crushed red pepper, heavy cream, and simmer a few minutes more.
  4. Stir in cooked penne pasta and chopped basil leaves.
