Ingredients

  • 10 oz. tomato puree
  • 1/4 c. boiling water
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 6 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 c. fresh white bread crumbs
  • 1/4 c. melted butter

Instructions

  1. Put tomato puree in a pan and rinse the tin with the boiling water. Add to the puree.
  2. Heat the mixture to boiling and add the salt and brown sugar.
  3. Place the white bread crumbs in a greased baking pan.
  4. Pour the melted butter over the bread crumbs and then add the tomato mixture.
  5. Cover the dish tightly and bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
