- Cook the milk with 1 stick cinnamon and 1 pound of sugar for 3 minutes; then leave it to cool.
- Beat the eggs well in a separate bowl.
- Wet each bread slice in the cooled milk mixture.
- Wrap the soaked bread slices in the beaten eggs.
- Fry the bread slices in very hot olive oil until golden brown.
- Remove from oil and place on a tray, then sprinkle with a mixture of sugar and ground cinnamon (half and half). Leave until cold before serving.
