Ingredients

  • 8 oz. package ribbed lasagna noodles
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 32 oz. spaghetti sauce
  • 1/4 pound Cheddar cheese
  • 3/4 pound Mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup Romano cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions.
  2. In a large skillet, sauté ground beef, chopped onion, salt, and garlic salt; drain off excess fat.
  3. Add spaghetti sauce to the skillet; bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.
  5. In a greased 9 x 13-inch baking pan, layer 3 strips of lasagna noodles lengthwise.
  6. Spread on 1/3 of the meat sauce, then sprinkle with 1/3 of the mozzarella and Cheddar cheese.
  7. Repeat the layering process twice.
  8. Sprinkle Romano cheese on top.
  9. Bake in a 350°F oven for 35 to 45 minutes.
  10. Let set for 10 minutes before cutting.
