Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 2 large onions
  • 1 large jar spaghetti sauce
  • 8 to 12 oz Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 large container cottage cheese
  • 2 large eggs
  • 10 to 12 lasagna noodles
  • Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef and drain.
  2. Add chopped onions and enough spaghetti sauce to make it slightly thinner than usual. Cook slowly.
  3. Combine grated mozzarella with cottage cheese and beaten eggs.
  4. Layer uncooked lasagna noodles in a pan, ensuring they do not touch.
  5. Top with a layer of beef sauce and cheese mixture.
  6. Repeat layering until the pan is full, ending with a layer of sauce, beef, and cheeses.
  7. Sprinkle generously with Parmesan cheese on top.
  8. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour.
  9. Let stand for 15 minutes before cutting into squares and serving.
