A refreshing and light tuna fruit salad combines crisp apples, sweet grapes, and crunchy lettuce with creamy mayonnaise, perfect for a quick, healthy meal or side dish.

Ingredients

  • 2 medium apples
  • 5 cups lettuce
  • 1 (9 1/4 oz.) can tuna in water
  • 1 cup seedless green grapes
  • 2/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Line bowls with lettuce and mound the salad attractively.
  2. Toss together unpeeled apples, cut into 1/2-inch cubes, torn lettuce, drained and flaked tuna, and grapes.
  3. Cover and chill the mixture.
  4. Combine mayonnaise, lemon juice, and salt to make the dressing.
  5. Toss the tuna mixture with the dressing.
  6. Serve chilled.
