Turkey Macaroni Pizza

Ingredients

  • 2 c. uncooked elbow macaroni
  • 1 lb. fresh ground turkey
  • 1 medium green pepper, chopped
  • 1 c. sliced onion rings
  • 15 oz. can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. each: salt, Italian seasoning, oregano and pepper
  • 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 to 1 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook and drain macaroni.
  2. Brown turkey, onion and green pepper until veggies are tender.
  3. Add tomato sauce and spices.
  4. Bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat; simmer 20 minutes.
  6. In medium bowl combine egg and milk.
  7. Add macaroni and mix well.
