Turkey Paprika

Ingredients

  • 2 c. sliced roasted turkey
  • 1/2 stick or 1/4 c. butter or margarine
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. milk
  • 4 tsp. paprika
  • 4 oz. mushrooms
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 Tbsp. poppy seed
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine

Instructions

  1. Melt 1/2 stick butter in skillet.
  2. Add onions; cook until tender.
  3. Blend in flour and salt.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly.
  6. Cook until mixture thickens. Reduce heat and add paprika.
  7. Add mushrooms and turkey.
  8. Simmer 5 minutes.
  9. Stir in sour cream and heat.
  10. Add poppy seed and 2 tablespoons butter to drained, cooked noodles.
  11. Toss together lightly.
