Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1/4 cup salt
  • 1/4 cup coarsely chopped black pepper
  • 1/4 cup parsley flakes

Instructions

  1. Rinse and pat the turkey dry.
  2. Mix salt and oil together.
  3. Rub the salt and oil mixture on the outside and cavity of the turkey.
  4. Combine the remaining salt and oil mixture with black pepper and parsley flakes; mix well.
  5. Rub this mixture in the cavity and on the outside of the turkey.
  6. Bake at 325°F for the amount of time specified per pound of turkey.
