Turn Over Spinach Pie

Ingredients

  • 3 c. flour
  • salt and pepper
  • 3 Tbsp. oil
  • 1/4 pkg.yeast
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 4 oz. cream cheese
  • 5 oz. frozen chopped and drained spinach (1/2 of 10 oz. pkg.)
  • 1/2 tsp. parsley
  • 1/2 tsp. dill weed

Instructions

  1. Mix well first four ingredients, let set overnight.
  2. Drain spinach, heat garlic in oil until brown.
  3. Put spinach and 4 slices of cheese, salt and pepper.
  4. Cook.
  5. Roll out dough, cut in squares, 4 x 4-inches.
  6. Fill each square with 2 teaspoon spinach filling.
  7. Fold.
  8. Bake in 400° oven for 30 minutes.
  9. Makes 12 servings.
