Ingredients

  • 8 ears corn
  • 2 qt. water
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 1 stick unsalted butter
  • 1/2 tsp. chili powder

Instructions

  1. Husk the corn and set aside.
  2. In a large pan, combine water, milk, and sugar; bring to a boil.
  3. Add the corn and cook for 3 minutes.
  4. Drain the corn, then roll in melted butter and sprinkle with chili powder.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours if desired.
  6. Before serving, grill the corn directly over hot coals for 2 minutes on each side.
