Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 lb. ground beef
  • 3 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 1/2 lb. cream-style cottage cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 2 1/4 Tbsp. parsley flakes
  • 1/3 tsp. pepper
  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese slices

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef and drain excess fat.
  2. Add tomato paste and sugar to the beef mixture and simmer briefly.
  3. Mix eggs, Parmesan cheese, parsley flakes, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. In a 13 x 9-inch pan, layer beef mixture, cooked lasagna noodles, cottage cheese, and mozzarella cheese.
  5. Repeat the layering process to create two layers.
  6. Bake the assembled lasagna for 30 minutes at 350°F (175°C).
