Two Meat Goulash

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef, cubed
  • 1 lb pork loin, cubed
  • 12 cup beef broth
  • 1 (14 ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 4 ounces small mushrooms, halved
  • 1 12 cups chopped onions
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons paprika
  • 12 teaspoon crushed caraway seed
  • 12 teaspoon crushed fennel seed
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 12 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 lb noodles, cooked

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients except sour cream, cornstarch, salt, pepper and noodles in slow cooker; cover and cook on low 6-8 hours.
  2. Stir in combined sour cream and cornstarch, stirring 2-3 minutes.
  3. Discard bay leaves; season to taste with salt and pepper.
  4. Serve over noodles.
