Two Step Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 6 medium potatoes
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese
  • 1 c. heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Boil potatoes until almost tender; cool.
  2. Peel and grate the potatoes.
  3. In a 9 x 12-inch baking dish, put grated potatoes and sprinkle dry ingredients over them.
  4. Sprinkle grated cheese over the top.
  5. Pour heavy cream over the cheese and potatoes.
  6. Bake at 350°F until browned and tender, about 30 to 45 minutes.
