Uncle Brad'S Banana Bread

Ingredients

  • 4-5 medium/large bananas
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 Cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 Cup raw cane sugar
  • 2 Cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Crisco shortening

Instructions

  1. - Mix well the bananas, butter, eggs, and sugar in a mixing bowl.
  2. - Add flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. *Optional - Add up to 1 Cup walnuts or small chocolate chips.
  4. - Grease the bread pan(s) with crisco. (Do not substitute Pam cooking spray or the like.)
  5. - Spoon into a long bread pan or a medium and a small one.
  6. *Optional - Sprinkle on top some raw cane sugar to give the bread a sweet crust.
  7. - Bake at 325 degrees for 45-90 min until an inserted toothpick comes out dry. The smaller (1 lb) pans will cook in about 45 min the larger pans will take longer.
