Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg white (unbeaten)
  • 1 tsp. flavoring
  • 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 2 c. boiling water
  • few drops food coloring

Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients into a large mixing bowl.
  2. Add the boiling water.
  3. Beat until it has high peaks.
  4. Add any color food coloring you choose.
  5. Spread on cake and set in a cool place for several hours.
