Uncooked Coconut Candy offers a rich, sweet treat with coconut, pecans, and chocolate, perfect for satisfying cravings or sharing at gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 sticks oleo (margarine or butter)
  • 2 boxes powdered sugar
  • 2 cups chopped pecans
  • 1 large can coconut
  • 1 can Eagle Brand milk
  • 1 (12 oz.) package Nestle semi-sweet chocolate bits
  • 1/8 lb. paraffin

Instructions

  1. Melt the oleo (margarine or butter).
  2. Combine all ingredients, except chocolate bits and paraffin, and add to the melted oleo.
  3. Mix well by hand until thoroughly combined.
  4. Form the mixture into small balls on wax paper.
  5. Refrigerate until hard.
  6. Melt the semi-sweet chocolate bits and paraffin for dipping.
  7. Dip the coconut balls into the melted chocolate mixture to coat.
  8. Allow to set before serving.
