Uncooked fruitcake combines sweet marshmallows, chopped nuts, dried fruits, and coconut, creating a no-bake treat perfect for festive gatherings and those who love rich, chewy confections.

Ingredients

  • 48 marshmallows
  • 1 lb oleo
  • 1 lb crushed honey graham crackers
  • 1/2 lb glazed pineapple, chopped
  • 1/2 lb cherries, chopped
  • 1 small package dates, chopped
  • 1 can Angel Flake coconut
  • 1 lb chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Slowly melt 48 marshmallows with 1 pound of oleo.
  2. Pour this mixture over 1 pound of crushed honey graham crackers.
  3. Add chopped glazed pineapple, chopped cherries, chopped dates, coconut, and chopped pecans.
  4. Work with your hands until thoroughly mixed.
  5. Mold into wax paper-lined pans or foil loaf pans.
  6. Let set for 24 hours.
  7. Turn out and wrap in wax paper and foil.
