Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups vanilla wafer crumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 1/3 cups flaked coconut

Instructions

  1. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
  2. Blend in vanilla wafer crumbs and baking powder.
  3. Beat in one egg at a time, stirring in pecans and coconut.
  4. Turn the batter into a greased and floured 9-inch by 1 1/2-inch pan.
  5. Bake at 325°F (160°C) for 40 minutes.
