Veal Sebastiani features tender veal cooked in a flavorful Sauterne wine sauce with garlic, parsley, and sage, perfect for a sophisticated dinner for meat lovers.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. veal steak
  • 4 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • salt
  • pepper
  • garlic salt
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 tsp. chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Brown veal in olive oil and butter.
  2. Add salt, pepper, and garlic salt to both sides of the veal.
  3. Turn the veal frequently until browned.
  4. Add crushed garlic, chopped parsley, sage, and heated Sauterne wine.
  5. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes, until gravy is golden and slightly thickened.
