Microwave Stroganoff

A quick and creamy beef stroganoff featuring tender sirloin strips, mushrooms, and a sour cream sauce, perfect for a comforting weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. beef loin top sirloin steaks
  • 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup beef broth
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 8 oz. mushrooms
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 cup dairy sour cream

Instructions

  1. Cut the beef into thin strips and dredge in flour.
  2. Combine the steak, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and pepper in a 2 1/2-quart microwave-proof casserole.
  3. Push the meat to the center of the casserole and set aside.
  4. Wipe the mushrooms with a damp towel and cut into thick slices.
  5. Arrange the mushrooms and sliced onion around the meat in the casserole.
  6. Cover with the casserole lid and microwave on high for 7 to 10 minutes or until the vegetables are tender.
  7. Stir in the sour cream before serving.
